General guidance
General rules: Fitness-for-occupation certificate and utility connection for licensed buildings
These are the rules for this kind of request as stated in the law and in official and published sources — not a replacement for the district’s catalogue entry above. Details can differ for your request; check with the district before you apply.
How to apply
- 1Once the licensed works are complete, the supervising engineer issues the building's fitness-for-occupation certificate.
- 2The certificate is deposited with the planning and building-control authority together with a copy, certified by the supervising engineer, of the drawings as actually built.
- 3The administrative body issues the utility-connection letters within two weeks at most of the certificate being deposited.
