Order enforced in Moharram Bek and Mahatet El Raml, and 14 non-compliant cafés and restaurants sealed
Campaigns in Moharram Bek, Mahatet El Raml and El Hadara, cafés’ encroachments removed after residents’ complaints, and 14 cafés and restaurants sealed with on-the-spot fines.
Through September 2026 the district kept up wide morning and evening campaigns to enforce order in Moharram Bek, Mahatet El Raml, Misr Station and El Hadara, with the utilities unit and the utilities police.
One campaign sealed 14 cafés and restaurants, collected EGP 67,000 in on-the-spot fines, and issued 28 violation reports, 5 warnings and 4 food-safety reports, destroying more than 16 kg of spoiled food.
Responding to residents’ complaints, the district removed cafés’ encroachments in El Hadara El Gedida, Moharram Bek, Galal El Desouky Street and around the Kabo factory in El Hadara El Qibliya, sealed 6 premises on Sherif Ramzy Street and 3 cafés on Kolleyet El Teb Street for occupying the road, and removed barriers from El Mahkama, Moharram Bek and Italian Hospital streets.
