Sixty poles relit on the Corniche and decorative lighting restored on the Carrefour road

On 3 September 2026 the district’s electricity department relit 60 poles on the Corniche from Sporting to El Shatby and rebuilt six inspection chambers in the median.

Through the month the decorative poles on the Carrefour road were restored with the projects and workshops department, and 20 poles were relit at the Misr Station bus stand, 34 on Tariq El Horreya at the Nagda feeder pillar and the Flower Clock, and 9 around El Shatby Hospital.

Work also covered poles and underground cables on the Mahmoudiya axis by the El Nozha bridge, the lighting in the Mansha tunnel, 14 lamps in the northern Shallalat Gardens, and replacement drivers and lamps in El Hadara and Moharram Bek.
